Since it's visible through the HOOK.INDEX of a verbal projection,
it can be used for selection.  However, I'm not sure that "nominalization"
is properly considered a "mood".

I'm not sure that moving CASE from just nouns to nouns and
verbs is necessarily a hack.  It seems to be working well for you...
